About Living Well Insights

Living Well Insights (LWI) is a UK-based, health-focused organisation working with communities, families, and partners to address health inequalities, improve wellbeing, and promote dignity across the life course. Our work centres culturally inclusive health education, prevention, and community-led insight — ensuring people most affected by inequality are informed, supported, and heard.

Who We Are

Living Well Insights was created in response to persistent and preventable health inequalities that disproportionately affect marginalised communities, particularly Black communities in the UK and across the diaspora.
We believe health information, services, and support should be:

  • Understandable
  • Culturally relevant
  • Accessible
  • Rooted in dignity and care

Why Living Well Insights exists

Our Purpose

We focus on prevention, education, and connection, recognising that better health outcomes require both individual support and systemic change.

Who We Work With

Our work focuses on people and communities who need it most.

Black Communities & Diaspora Families:

Supporting culturally informed health education, wellbeing resources, and community-led insight to address health inequalities and build trust.

Careers & Older Adults:

Practical guidance, peer support, and legacy-focused programmes for carers and older adults navigating ageing, memory loss, and long-term care.

Individuals Affected by Preventable Illness

Accessible information and advocacy to support prevention, early intervention, and improved outcomes.

Community & Health Partners:

Working with charities, care providers, public health teams, and grassroots organisations to reduce inequalities and strengthen local outcomes.

Our Approach

Living Well Insights takes a people-first, community-led approach to health advocacy, education, and prevention — focused on addressing health inequalities and improving health literacy across the life course.

  • We centre lived experience alongside evidence
  • We design resources with communities, not in isolation
  • We prioritise clarity over complexity
  • We create space for storytelling, reflection, and legacy

Our programmes are delivered with community organisations, care providers, and public health stakeholders to ensure relevance, trust, and sustainability.
